What constitutes a face?

What are the essential elements?

Is it eyes? Plenty of beings don't have those.

Nose? Mouth? Those aren't guaranteed either.

What makes something a face?

Does it have to belong to a real living organism?

Or can a drawing have a face?

It's one of those things we know when we see...

But perhaps none of us can define?
